GeneticLab contributes to advancement of human health science through broad-spectrum technologies in collaboration with some medical universities and other state-run research institutes.
At Center for Advanced Pathology Services, 4 pathologists and 16 cytotechnologists join our center, and have offered advanced pathological diagnostic service, including specimen preparation, for histopathology & cytopathology, by means of up-to-date techniques, such as the gene analysis and imaging technology. We conduct histopathological diagnosis of 61,521 biopsies and surgical specimens, cytological diagnosis of 100,765 smear specimens, and also 6,209 HPV typing procured from more than 380 hospitals in 2009 annually.

Center for Advanced Pathology Services :
Four full-time pathologists work for the routine pathological diagnosis of more than 60,000 biopsy and surgical samples annually. In addition, approximately 40 renal biopsy samples are processed and diagnosed monthly by expert renal pathologists. Pathologists also play important roles in our mission in that they read and analyze the samples with multiplex fluorescence staining for the cellular localization of the target molecules and evaluate and select candidate biomarkers by using tissue microarray stained by various antibodies.
Department of Advanced Medical Research and Development :
We provide gene expression analysis by GeneChip, HPV typing analysis and quantitative analysis of proteins by suspension array in any kind of cells from various mammals. We are also capable of offering to customers so called one stop service containing selection of starting samples, selection of experimental design, performance of experiments, data analysis, and final conclusion. In line with successful development of HPV genotyping kit, we will further focus on the development of sensitive detection kits for infectious agents.
